"Capping" these two neighborhoods to the NORTH is "La Macarena" neighborhood which has great history as well. Across the Guadalquivir River and just west of the El Arenal neighborhood are two more neighboorhoods which are split horizontally. The northern neighborhood is called "Triana" and the southern is "Los Remedios". It's recommended to stay in - or at least near - the old center as it is the most charistmatic and will most certainly make your stay more memorable.
