The Franco era was only possible because the UK and the Americans refused to help the II Republic, both before and after the WWII.
Hmmmmm, I know of some DEAD Lincoln Brigade Americans who could argue against this post much better than I.
(I think there is a memorial in La Mancha for those Americans who refused to help)
