If you're looking specifically for hotels, have you considered Hotel Plaza Mayor (next to nearby Plaza Mayor), Hotel Opera (near PDS), Hotel Regina , Hotel Europa (on PDS), or Hotel Madrid & Hotel Cortezo (both near PDS & also a Best Western hotels)? There many around the Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor areas.
