Hi wanderlust0413! It's my impression that the city of Málaga doesn't have a big "web presence" when it comes to budget lodgings. Probably most of the nicer hotels do have websites, however.

I see there are 4 hostels (called "hostales" in Spanish) and 1 youth-hostel (called "albergue juvenile") listed @ http://www.spainhostels.com/links/Andalucia/Malaga/Malaga/ . You might also try a www.Google.com search using the keywords "Málaga Hostal". This will likely yield Spanish-language websites but is worth a try. Good luck!
