Congratulations on your forthcoming honeymoon (and wedding!). What a great way to spend it - travelling round Spain.

If you use the searchbutton (located top right on the message board - it's only little, look carefully), you can type in what you are looking for (i.e. hotel madrid etc) and you will get many many threads to wade through. All of which will probably add to your confusion as to where to stay, but should enlighten you.

I stayed with my husband at the Hotel Carlos V in Madrid when we had a special holiday together in May 2000. I can't recommend it highly enough. If you type in Carlos V in the search thingy I think you will find that others found it good too.

The breakfast room was particularly wonderful and felt very romantic. After all, a breakfast is more important on a honeymoon than a bedroom right?
