Anyone know anything about Peníscola? It's an old town on Costa del Azahar North of Valencia.

I know someone (not me ) who may be thinking of buying a small property there with the idea of using it themselves and also letting it.

From what I can find out, I think it looks like a nice place, but may be becoming a little overrun with holiday apartments etc?

I know there is some beautiful countyside inland, so the area will appeal to those people looking for a beach holiday and also those looking for something else.

Any info would be helpful.
