Any recommendations on the best way to get to Cadaque's? I was thinking taking the bus from Barcelona. Anybody know the schedules?

I just looked on the Alsa Bus website and couldn't find that they went to Cadaque's from Barcelona.

Where exactly is Cadaque's??? Has anyone else ever heard of it? Can I assume it's somewhere in the north or maybe it's in France??

Saludos, MadridMan

It's on the Costa Brava up the coast from Barcelona by about 100m/150km, very close to the French border.

The bus company from Barcelona to Cadaqués is Sarfa . You will find the schedules here .

You can find some information about Cadaqués at this link:

Check also this one (in Spanish):

madridman, its on the costa brava very near the french border. dali spent his childhood summers there. later he lived there as an adult. many of his early works are landscapes of cadaques. they're done in a certain fusion of picasso-like cubism and french impressionism. i've personally never been this part of spain, however i just spoke with an old friend who was there in 1997. she told me she took a bus from figueres(dali's birthplace), which she reached via barcelona. from what she told me the trip is roughly an hour and a half from figueres as its on a winding isolated road. according to her its sweet and picturesque and has the very definite feel of france rather than spain.
