I've booked a few nights at the Hostal Alcázar Regis on the Gran Vía (as a click-through from MadridMan, of course!) in May. Has anyone from these parts ever stayed there? The photos on the booking.com website look great, and a single room is only €39. Anyway, I'll report back on my return.
