erm...I didn't actually think I was asking as such....:-)
It just seems a useful idea to know where free wifi is offered.eg Hostal Chelo didn't even advertise it had free Wifi, something I felt could be a huge selling point for them.
My original thinking was along the lines that when someone "discovered" one of these Hostals/Hotels it could just be added to a list on this site.

Okay. I've changed the name of the thread to reflect MADRID as the city location of conversation. Hostal Los Alpes has free WiFi too.

Madrid: Huespedes Jaen (a.k.a. "Hostal Jaén") in the Huertas neighborhood has free wireless internet connection.

Madrid: Pension Antonio mentions having "Internet connection WI-FI for personal computer" but it doesn't say it's for free.

And like the above, Hostal Alfaro has Wi-Fi too but it doesn't say if it's free.

Another case in that Hostal Marlasca has Wi-Fi but their website doesn't say if it's free.
