While the title suggests it's about Italy - and porn stars, the first half of his detailed posting is about his month, THIS month, experiences traveling around Spain. The second half of the posting is about Italy. Interesting reading! Anecdotes about his too-tight flight on Iberia from Madrid to Barcelona, leaving his wishing he'd taken the AVE bullet-train and more legroom, wi-fi signal poaching, and also how some post-Franco FRANCO worshipers wish people had less freedom.

The second half of the posting about Venice is equally as entertaining. Here's a funny quote:

No, he never has in the past, either, but I thought THIS time... since he added me to his book, "Rick Steves' Spain 2012" and also to the upcoming "Rick Steves Europe Through the Back Door 2013" book that.. well, you know, that we were getting to be Pals. Sniff! hehehe...

Not bloody likely, since he didn't contact me. But maybe someday, oneday... Who knows. I may be waiting awhile, though, as he only re-visits specific cities every 2-5 years or so.
