I will b moving to Madrid in February or March 2007 to study Spanish. Because I am an American, there r lengthy visa requirements, one of which is to have a valid address of where I will b living.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to where I should start looking? The language school does provide accomodation, but it is far too expensive. Any comments would b appreciated.

You just need to provide an address of a contact in Spain, not necessarily the address where you will be living. I would ask the school to provide you with a name (and use the address of the school) when you are applying for the visa.
