For those attending, keep in mind the metro strike may continue through tomorrow and may affect your ability to arrive on time. I'll see two of you there! Can't wait. Wonder what we'll make first!?

I think I'll probably write blog articles about my experiences.

Saludos, MadridMan

So I understand we have "un señor" Gordon Ramsey in the House now !! Looking forward to an invite to the gourmet dinner !! I have to say that Esperanza´s photos were mouth watering ... I´m guessing that was a different occasion .

Looking forward to today's cooking class. Although I KNOW what we're preparing, I'll let you know after-the-fact how it went. Hope they keep the A/C on a little longer than last time when it got hot in the kitchen. Go figure!

Saludos, MadridMan

So what did you make last week? Fill us in with the menus, please. Cooking with air conditioning lessens the fun.

Our first class we made Salmorejo, Pollo al Chilindrón and Arroz con leche. Yesterday the dishes were a bit mire complicated. Coca de verduras (like a foccacia), Arroz negro con sepia y gambas, and peras al vino con natillas.
It was a lot of fun! I am so glad we were all able to do this class together.

Maybe in the MadridMan.com Base Menu there could be a recipe sharing link. So many seem to be interested in this topic.

See the two MadridMan's Message Board "stand ins" (YOU know who you are, speak up if you like!) at tomorrow's cooking class! Mmmm.. Revuelto de Morcilla.. MMmmmm.... The other two are "LaDuque & Esperanza: On The Road Again in Spain".

Cross your fingers for transportation during tomorrow's 50% Metro Service strike.

jacmom, that's a good idea about recipe sharing. Not sure how I would do that but will look into it. Thanks!
