We all know buying train tickets from Renfe online (in the states) can be troublesome. I was wondering if anyone has booked through Viajes El Corte Ingles. I pick-up thier brochures all the time but I've never looked into it once I get home. I looks pretty simple. Any thoughts?

It's been about 4 years but I have booked train tickets through the El Corte Ingles travel agencies (shops, not online) more than once. My Spanish was good enough even then (amazingly) to book tickets to Granada and Barcelona from Madrid without problem. They charge a small fee but I found it easier than standing in line (for potentially an hour+) at the Atocha train station - back when I was a newby. Now I book everything online.

When I'm in town I usually book at ECI. It's just more convenient. I'm wondering if it's possible to buy online from the US. If it is, it's GOT to be easier than the Renfe site. Maybe I'll try it (purchase online) this year.
