of the 1-star, totally renovated and modern, Hotel Carlos V
located on the edge of the Realejo neighborhood and at the end (past, in fact) of the long tapas-bar-filled pedestrian street of Calle Navas. It's a rooftop hotel which once was a "hostal" but now have key-card doors, Wi-Fi, and a common-space outdoor terrace with nice mountain and valley views of the city. Few tourists in this area walking around.
