Booklady, thanks!, the only problem with Hotel Suecia (very close to my attic in Madrid and where I've booked many a visitor while working there) is that, the groom, "Mr. Keeper at Home" is a Finn, and, you're not going to believe this, but....Finnish people are NOT very fond of anything Swedish!!! :o

Us Finns have the greatest sympathy for our Nordic neighbours. It's only that they inflicted the world with so many bad things. Roxette, Abba, and the Scandenavian branch of Al-Quaida otherwise known as IKEA.

I'm in the Adriano right now. I have a double bed, but it's very creaky. And earlier today, I was able to hear the reception guy throw his keys on desk. I would say it is romantic since I'm currently sitting by my terrace with the wind gently caressing the drapes and the bathroom light giving off a rosy glow to my otherwise darkened room. But let's just say, privacy here is virtually impossible.
