I attended Book Expo America in New York City last week. The Spain pavilion was fantastic. There were many examples of Spanish publishing on display including an interesting assortment of reproductions of medieval texts. Sorry, photos were not in offing. Nonetheless, the reps there were very helpful, many from Barcelona but other cities/regions as well.
It was interesting to see this aspect of Spanish culture outside of Spain. Can't wait to get in-country again.
I'm wondering if bookstores/sales are on the rise or fall in Spain and would appreciate any comments thereabout.
