I came back from Madrid Dec 8th, as usual my trips lately have been in and out, just there for the Constitution weekend. However, i was asked and not sure if the Faro de Moncloa is open or close or what is going on with it. Anybody IN Madrid can verify this for me,thanks

It's closed !! I've been wanting to go up there for the last couple of years , but I was there recently to take photos ( for Esperanza ) and it was still closed . Maybe somebody else can shed some light on why this situation continues ?

Thanks, i thought it was closed for about 30 months or so, and then was reopen, but since not able to go in person yet, i ask here.

I was in the neighborhood just today and went to take a look. Yes, it's still closed. The sign in the window of the ticket booth simply says that it's closed for maintenance but no additional information as to when it may re-open.

Yeah, sometime in 2010! ARGH!!! They say it has been closed since August 2005! I had no idea!!
