I just received my sample ballot for the primary election in L.A. County and I noticed the application for poll workers. I thought this would be unique opportunity; high school seniors with a min. gpa of 2.5 are eligible. They are also paid so you could use it as a fundraiser as well! They encourage bilingual workers so it could put upper-level seniors to the test. I have the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica and they are always in need of service hours.
