Not allying with the US in what it feels is necessary for the defeat of terrorism isn't as feasible as some of you think.

France Investigating Terrorist\'s Claims

...like I have always said. You cannot negotiate with terrorists. They want you dead whether you try to appease them or kill them.

.....I hope they have a building blown up, GOD-willing, no casualties, to show them that appeasement is NEVER an answer. They tried that once with the Nazis. What's the saying? "He who forgets history is doomed to repeat it".

Chirac's insistence on the French principle of separation of church and state over the wearing of the headdress caused an uproar among the Muslim religious community in France.

Al-Qaeda, always ready for new recruits, is using this controversy to assert their strength and to teach the French a lesson, that it's not good to mess with Al-Qaeda and their friends. Please remember, infidels are not friends.

Just like Captain Renault in "Casablanca", I'm sure M. Chirac is "shocked, SHOCKED" that such things may happen in France!

Gotta hand it to the French, they are more efficient than the US is at provoking terrorists. Here we spent billions of dollars on bombs and stuff.. and the french manage to become terror targets by simply banning headscarves.

Actually the issue of approved dress codes in Spanish schools was talked about in our forums quite some time ago, and the effect it had on one particular Muslim girl. My guess is that by now al Qaeda has pretty well decided that can be the crux of another issue at a later date. Just another attack from your friendly "out of country" terrorists.
