Okay I have an idea!
Of course we can go to any resturant in NY but I think we should go to a staple place that defines NY. A real NY place were many movie stars, even presidents visit and where the movie "When Harry Met Sally" was filmed.

A great New York experience. Its on Houston street (for all you non New Yorkers it's pronounced Howston not Houston like the city in Texas)
Plus there are many great pubs and music joints we can see afterwards that aren't in those tourist books or we can even go to the Feast of San Gennero afterwards

hi there...although i am not in NY at the present time...as a New Yorker, I would second the idea of Katz Deli...GREAT idea Richie! You must have some pastrami and corned beef sandwiches there! It IS a NY tradirion...you will love it for sure! I wish I could join you all! Have a Dr. Browns Cream Soda too! Yum...I miss all the NY goodies here in Argentina

Great idea Katz Deli. Replay wants something New York, this is a good choice and far remove from something he might find in Spain. Which is what he wants.

I will have to save room if we visit San Gennero and we should go because it is New York!

Oddly enough, there are no business hours on their website 's information section. Looks like a cool place, though!

Nate thinks because its kosher they may follow the sabbath but the sabbath is usually over by sat night. It starts friday at sunset and it's over by sat. sunset but regardless, I've been there on Saturday night. It's rockin and operational.

I think we should all agree to any political discussion should be off limits at dinner.
