As from Monday to Wednesday night life is not so interesting, and to wait viajero who comes the 6th, it could be nice to do something one of those days (from 6th to 9th). Ignacio knows the night well enough to help you with the gathering, don't you Ignacio?
I normally prefer a Thursday because places are not so crowded and it's easier to move, although of course, I go back home earlier than on a weekend.
Anyway, something more quiet can be done on Sundays, Mondays or any day, there's always something to do.
Viajero, I think november will be too cold to be outdoors at night.

To make it more easy, somebody who knows madrid, should suggest 1 day and 1 place and a time. There will always be people who can´t make it unfortunately!

So Miguelito, Andres, Ignacio??? Please give a suggestion and start a new topic: Gathering /date / time / place.

I´ll be there!! Maybe it comes in handy if we collect some pictures so we can recognize eachother.

I know some places, but I tend to go to salsa places, which is my favourite environment, and usually is not the favourite place of northern european or american tourists. I know some of Huertas/Santa Ana, and a couple of places for dinner, not too bad, in that area that is tourist-fashionable, but I am far from being an experienced Central Madrid "nightlifer", I go to this area ocasionally only.

That's why I think many can do the job much more properly, besides, I am null organizing things.

OK, I am in. The usual thing in dinners out, eating tapas, could be about 15 to 20 € each, although it could be cheaper or more expensive depending on tha kind of tapas, the place, the amount of food desired, the wines/sangrias/others ...
