My friend and I are planning to come to Madrid next March (2004)time to work for few months until we continue our world travel to Asia and New Zealand!!! (its going to be fun!! )

Can you tell me this....will we find it easy to get accommodation in a flat perhaps or rent a flat quite cheaply in madrid for perhaps a month to two months in march to may?

Also what is the weather like in Madrid then?

And can anyone suggest some fun places we could apply to work? :p

Hello, I think it won't be easy the flat thing, a room in a shared flat could be around 300€/month, depending on how big and where it's situated, anyway it's not easy to find something, and March is not the best month to look for. There are a lot of threads about flats, have a look at them.
About the weather March is a month when it can be cold or warm, you never now, you can have both in less than a week, depending on the winds, high pressures,...
