I've travelled lots in spain but have never been to Salamanca. I'm planning on being there in June. Any advice on where to stay? Looking for a cheap - moderate hostal/hotel, in old part of city.

While I can't personally recommend any (since I've never spent the night, only visited) you could scan those listed with websites @ http://www.SpainHostels.com/links/Castilla_y_Leon/Salamanca/Salamanca/

Also, I'd recommend doing a simple SEARCH of this category using keywords SALAMANCA HOSTAL or SALAMANCA HOTEL. Good luck!
