I found some great advice on this BB.
I will be in Spain in July. We'll arrive in Madrid on a Thursday evening about 22:00 and fly on the next morning to Malaga. Any suggestions fo a hostal close to the airport where one can stay just for the one night.

Hello Charly! Welcome to our little Spain-loving message board.

There are many many more hotels ("hoteles" in Spanish) and very few hostels (called "hostales" in Spanish) near Madrid Barajas Airport. But there is one which has a website. It's called Hostal Los 5 Pinos (website @ http://www.Los5Pinos.com ). It certainly isn't cheap but definitely cheaper than the hotels.
