Hi all,can anyone help?,i was in Majorca in the 1970s, there was a record called "Charlie", it was sung by a girl group, the melody still haunts me today,any info on the groups name would be great, then i can go about trying to find a copy, thanks for you time, best wishes,Oggy.

The song is called "Charly" and the group was called Santabarbara. They were three men, not girls, but they sang in a high tone, kinda Bee Gees. You can see here a pic of the original single . The song's lyrics are in this web page

What a great place to be in the 1970's. I have a t.shirt I bought there that I just can't bear to part with - a real hippy thingy. It's eyelets (remember you had to have a laced up neck bit on t.shirts?) are all rusted now, I think I'll just frame it.
