Hi
My favorite poet is Juan Antonio Villacañas. His work is largely out of print for a variety of reasons, but there is a link out on the web now with several his poems:

Corazón
Qué gracia tienes, corazón. No hay día
que no me digas algo. Me divierte
ser incapaz de verte y conocerte.
Y con qué poco te conocería.
Me das sombra en el pecho. Y alegría.
Me das calor de corazón. Y suerte.
Yo no tengo la culpa de tenerte.
Ni perderte tampoco es culpa mía.
Me das pena también. Y te acaricio.
Y me vuelvo a reír tranquilamente.
Es un defecto de tenerte, un vicio.
Y tiene gracia, corazón. La gente
de corazón no tiene desperdicio.
Pero mi corazón es diferente.
Los vagos pensamientos, 1962
If you fall in love with his work as I did, you can read more of his poems and about his life in a new book by his daughter, entilted: LA POESíA DE JUAN ANTONIO VILLACAñAS: ARGUMENTO DE UNA BIOGRAFíA (OBRA POéTICA 1960-1984). If you google it, it will come right up. Also, I believe one of JAV's books was re-published, but I have not been able to get a hold of it. If anyone gets into this poet - tell me what you think! I'm interested to hear thoughts and opinions on him, since I rarely do!
