The Millau viaduct is part of the new E11 expressway connecting Paris and Barcelona and features the highest bridge piers ever constructed. The tallest is 240 meters (787 feet) high and the over all height will be an impressive 336 meters (1102 feet), making this the highest bridge in the world

Has anybody been over this bridge, i bet it is amazing.

That looks incredible! I'd love to stop in the middle of that bridge and look over the side.

On a slightly different subject, I'm given to understand that when the new high-speed line from Madrid to Valladolid is completed, the track will pass through the longest tunnel in the world. It will make the journey a lot quicker between the 2 cities; the drawback will be missing out on that mountain scenery. Plus some people may feel claustrophobic
