On my trip to Spain this year I spent 7 days in Madrid (great) and only 2 days in Barcelona. Obviously too short of a time. I have to return and see more. Actually I think there are so many parts of Spain I would like to see. Now if my job in the US only had a European style vacation policy ....

Through my work (I work in TV/entertainment) I get a free Spanish TV package in which I receive stations from all over the world but I enjoy watching TVE from Spain!

I do hope to return to Spain in 2007. Perhaps early to mid-spring time.

And I think my impression of Madrid was quite the same as quoted by this web site. Of course my trip was made better in Madrid due to the fact I have a college friend who is Spanish living in Madrid and my wife has a cousin living there too. Obviously made the experience being there better.

So here's to my 2007 Trip!
