In an amusing and I hope friendly way I have put together a list of things the Spanish can do that the English normally cannot:
1) Park their cars in incredibly tight parking spaces
2) Dance with rhythm.
3) Provide cheap and reliable public transport
4) Drink at all hours without ever seemingly getting drunk and aggressive.
5) Integrate closer and closer to Europe without ever losing that sense of being different
...and things the English can do that the Spanish find difficult ...
1) Be stuck in a traffic jam without constantly pipping the horn..
2) Play darts without needing an electronic scoreboard to tally up a score.
3) Take a half hour lunch and still be back early at work
4) Whisper (this concept does not exist here!)
5) Convert his/her currency into Euros. Here people still think in pesetas when talking about car-prices, rent or house prices. Ironic that it is the UK that has kept their own currency.
Hope you found this list interesting!
