Should I use it now, or wait until closer to my return to Madrid in November?
Next trip I am bringing an extra bag and filling it with conservas, Casera, anchoas artesanos and anything else I find that you can't get in the USA.

Mongo, it's a shame you couldn't take advantage of the Tienda.com sale on the La Casera 6-pack which was going on a month or so ago. I recall that it was downright cheap! Now La Casera is no longer available through Tienda.com. Good luck! And if it was me, I'd split the difference between now and your next trip to use that last bottle. Or, use it for a very special occasion. Saludos, MadridMan

Mongo, you should send that Casera to me, right now. It's the only sensible thing to do, plus you can use it as a tax write off as a charitable donation. Alas, I wish I'd bought the Casera when it was available on tienda.com, but I wasn't able to get there in time. Now I'm reduced to e-mailing idle threats to their webmaster.

After further consultation, I've listed it on e-bay!

Mongo, what's the e-Bay number? Calibasco, please accept my sincere apology for my earlier suspicion! But I was soooo disappointed!

My buddy in Madrid (a tapas bar owner) keeps telling me he will ship a case to me. My Spanish is not good enough to convince him that I am SERIOUS!

Mongo: Let me help you...and get it before Oct. 5...I'll be in the Cities that weekend. Just read this over the phone to your amigo in Spain: "¡Tío, te lo digo en serio...o me mandas una docena de Casera o te parto la cara!"

Yes, a bottle of La Casera is truly necessary! You know the saying: "Si no hay Casera, pues nos vamos"

ALL GONE! I mixed a tinto de verano and drank the rest straight. BTW CaliBasco...It was great! (You may have a La Casera "mono" on your back!)
