Has anyone ever stayed at Hotel Costa Vella www.costavella.com in Santiago de Compostela? A friend recommended it to me and it does look interesting.

I have stayed at the Costa Vella a year ago. It is a charming hotel, good roomas, nice people, with a beautiful garden where you can have a coffee or a beer under trees, flowers and vines. It is in the historic district, a short walk from the cathedral, museums, restaurants. Old recycled building. Summary: good choice, I will go back next time I am in Santiago

I'm so glad I looked at this thread, as I am planning a return to Santiago, and wanted to stay in a nice, affordable hotel close to the monuments. The price is extremely reasonable for a double. I stayed at the Peregrino Hotel last time, and while very nice,and affordable, it was too far from the Cathedral.

Are the rooms spacious?
