Hey MMan! Hope you're not feeling too "homesick" (from your second home, I mean) Since you left, the sun has decided not to shine and the weather's been awful! Saluditos, p

My tears make it difficult to see the monitor... . (Deeeeeep breath.....) Yes. I'm back... and going through the usual withdrawl. I don't like being here at all with Spain so fresh in my memory. It would help, I suppose, if I had satelite TV access to Madrid/Spain television stations, but I don't. The radio helps somewhat, but without images it's not quite the same. Yes. I'm sad. I find myself unusually quiet on the message boards... still catching up with life, trying to get my mail restarted, and working with all the emails which have gotten stacked up with I left about 3 weeks ago. Thank you all for the WELCOME BACK postings. I really, truly appreciate them. I missed you all while gone and missed even more of you who were/are in Madrid and couldn't make it to the MadridMan Party. As for the Albariños, I looked at every single bottle we drank and I didn't write down a single name nor did I do much more than taste/enjoy the wine as I ate the food. Plus, it seemed they all were simple table Albariños if that's possible. Sorry! Saludos, MadridMan

Hey MM, I know how you feel, and the more I return to Spain, the more I do not want to return to the US. I came back from my last trip on Feb 4th,2002, and it still makes me ache inside, especially when I read about your trip, but even when it hurts me, I still long to read every word of what you've seen and felt while you were there, because after reading it all, it makes me fight harder to follow my soul, and my soul says that I am 'home' in Spain. Besides the love I have for my Spaniard, I also have the same deep love for Spain, and no matter how hard you try, you could never put into words "why" you feel this way, only knowing that it just is....So I want to thank you for keeping my(& others) spirit alive thru this message board. Remember, all things happens for a reason, and when the time comes that we are where our soul desires, then we can 'fully' appreciate what we have in our lives(not like we don't appreciate it now , but you know what I mean ) So keep fighting, as I will with the help from you and your friends here on this board. MM, yes, welcome back and I too understand your feelings. But, just start planning your next trip to get over it! About remembering the wine labels: As for the Albariños, I looked at every single bottle we drank and I didn't write down a single name ...... That's what the digital camera is for! Welcome back again - and POST THOSE PICTURES!!!
