I'll be in Madrid for a week in December with some family. We haven't been able to decide between the Hostal Adriano or the Hotel Suecia . We can have three people in a room (there's five of us) at Adriano (less cost) but I'm a bit concerned about being too squezed. At the Suceia we need to get 3 rooms (more cost). I'm not sure if it's worth it to pay more for Hotel Suecia(not too much, I'm using Bancotel ). It looks like a nice place on the website. I'm lucky to have a choice between two great places but it makes it so much harder to decide.

If the price difference is negligible, I would get the 3 rooms at the Suecia. There is nothing like square footage to preserve friendships. This comes from a die-hard Adriano advocate.

The Adriano has the best facilites of any hostal in it's class, but with other people around, I like more room!
