Am trying to stay out of the fray but do feel the need to comment on one thing. I, also, looked at the site Beckhmam posted - and am horrified than anyone - read ANYONE would consider the site as a news medium. I have spent a good part of my working life affiliated with broadcast news and Beckham's site content, quite frankly, makes trash like the National Inquirer look good! The site is not news - it's inflamatory propaganda and poorly done propaganda at that.
BTW, Beckham, I knew you were female!

You are so right about the onion. There is an old archived article under "point-counterpoint" about "European men being more romantic than American men" that is one of the best articles from the onion, I think. (It seems almost appropriate since this is a travel discussion board)

The Onion has always been a super site - thanks for reminding me about it!
