That's GREAT! I say we ask one of our MANY (hehehe...) registered $millionaire$ members to fly all 2000 members to Spain for a weekend trip and we'll have a party THERE in the honor of the 2000th member. Sound like a good idea? I'd vote for that!

OK! I'm in. But let's all be sure we can go when the flight rates are low. We don't want the richest members spending too much on the rest of us. I predict the 2000th member will be from. . . . . . Madrid!

What an achievement. You and your wonderful Web site have done more for Spanish Tourism than any other tourist site I have seen or visited, certainly more than my travel agency.

I think that the least that the airlines could do is give you a hefty discount on their tickets! You deserve to be in Spain this December and I will do a novena in your name so that you can be there!

OH NO! Hopefully number 2000 WON'T see this.. I'm afraid one of the previously registered members will RE-register under a new name JUST to be number 2000 and never post a single message under their "new" username. Today's the day!!! El Boqueron, the other 16 registrants are either deleted members who had forgotten their original usernames (until I told them) or "reserved" usernames.

The number listed on the opening page of the active message board is the number of registered, active accounts. Wow. 2,000! I'm truly amazed. And all those in about 1.5 years! Not bad, I guess. I'm just happy we ALL have a place to go to share our love for Spain, even if it's in the virtual sense. Enjoy, all!

This is really a great site MadridMan. It's really a great feeling when you can create something and watch it flourish into something successful. Think about, you have brought over 2,000 people together from all over the world via your keyboard at home. Now that's some amazing stuff. Congratulations again!
