I'm with you guys on the Mecano!!!! It really is some great stuff. I'm a sophomore in college, so its obviously music that was before my time, but I was first introduced to Mecano in high school. We had a really great Spanish teacher that used to expose us to Spanish music, and Mecano was a major group. I also think that "Laika" and "Una Rosa es Una Rosa" are great selections. All downloadable off of Napster might I add!

If you like Mecano read on.... last year warner music spain released Ana Torroja y Miguel Bose - Girados en concierto (Ana is the singer from Mecano). They play quite a few old Mecano songs like Un año más, Hoy no me puedo levantar, Mujer contra mujer, El siete de Septiembre, Hijo de luna, etc. It's a 2CD recorded live from their concert in La Coruña from 7/28/00. I picked this up at Madrid Rock on the Gran Vía for 2.800 pts.
