Yes Spain is 6 hours up to the East coast, if they move up one hour it would be 7 hours until the US move up one hour. England and Portugal are 5 hours up to the East coast.
Spain (and the whole of Europe) changes its clocks on the last Sundays in March and October.
We changed on Saturday night / Sunday morning of last weekend (24/25 March) to GMT+2 (i.e. 2 hours ahead of GMT), and will change back to GMT+1 at the end of October.
To confuse visitors, Portugal is one hour behind Spain (i.e. matching UK time) in both summer and winter, cause endless problems at the border!!
