I take 5 different prescription drugs to manage my emphysema. I have no insurance coverage in the States, therefor stock up every time I go abroad. To save a lot of shopping around, does anyone know of a large pharmacy where I could buy a quantity of the drugs I need at a reasonable price?

My US costs run around $4,000 per year. Usually find same things abroad for around $1000 or less.

Almost of the products in pharmacies have the same price in Spain, it's written on the box. I can't tell you about a big one, but any of them will be able to have the drugs you need in a few days.
Some drugs needs a note from the doctor, I don't know if you could have problems with that.

I agree with Miguel, we don't really have the concept of "generic" drug as you have it in the States. Our medicines come from the industries in their commercial packaging with a national price to apply so any farmacy would serve your purposes.

Since the goverment is trying to change that now it may happen that you get offered "genericos" that is generic prescriptions in the american stile.
