I will be there Sunday. I can't wait. My grandmother is already getting everybody together to pick me up at Santa Justa. I will stay in Madrid for a few days and then go on to Sevilla.

i have finally landed!!!!!!! well after cancelled flights and delays and the airlines loosing my luggage i am here in El Escorial drinking a cup of Manzanilla and smoking a fortuna light!!! life is good. I already have some leads on a place to live so monday i will go to see some of the places. I start the CELTA program Wednesday so i will see how hat goes. well i have alot to do but i will stay in touch!!!!

I am out of the loop on how you got lucky enough to move to Spain? I ask because I am trying to do the same next year and all I get is negative feedback about how difficult it will be to get a legal job... could you share how you got yours, if that is what you are doing?

El Escorial sounds like a magical place..I would like to learn more about it..I'm in madrid right now, what's the best way to get there? Where to stay, etc? How long is long enough to get a good feel for the place? Thanks..st

Are you involved with the Amor de Dios Dance Studio in Madrid? I think I remember you saying something about it somewhere? Can you tell me more about it? I think there is some kind workshop something or other going on during August, with Maria Benitez (?) which is more or less finished before we arrive in Madrid. Do you know any more? Do they have a programme of events throughout the year? Where abouts is it?

Sorry about all the questions, I'm sure you're pretty busy sorting yourself out. I was impressed that you were back on the board as soon as you had arrived in Spain!

Have you managed to find any teaching yet?

WAY TO GO, MISSMADRID98!!!!! Welcome Home (to Spain)!!!! I know (probably) that since you're now in your beloved Spain that we'll hear from you less often. That would be a shame, but we know how happy you are. Good luck to you there, in finding lodging, and with your dreams.
