JUST NOW, 2 days later, I saw the firs television coverage of Saturday's parade. I saw it on Madrid Directo. One of the "reporters" was atop one of the double-decker buses and interviewing some of the men and women entertaining the crowds below. He was also interviewing costume-wearing people in the street as well as spectators.

I did not attend any part of the ORGULLO festivities this year. Instead, I stayed home and stayed cool.
