Does anyone know what a "retirement visa" is and how difficult it is to get that kind of a visa? Although it is still far away, I would love to start dreaming about retiring in Spain!

esperanza, & AL, , check the website for the Spain Consulate in Chicago @ http://www.consulate-spain-chicago.com/ . Click VISAS in the menu at left. On that next page, click the link for "To retire in Spain".
