Karen J., I was in constant contact a few weeks ago with someone else with your exact same questions. You're not the same person? I couldn't help much then and can't help much now either. As far as I'm aware, there's nothing more out there than the prison.

Hopefully someone else might have some clues to your question. Best of luck!

Saludos, MadridMan

At km 5, there are a truck stop with restaurant and a couple of businesses. The prison is off an access road at a roundabout there. Most of the prisoners awaiting extradition are in the prison at Soto del Real north of Madrid, although a few are at Valdemoro. I'm not sure about the mail, but a "permiso" is usually just a couple of days, so mail should still go to the prison address. I don't think they have specific apartados numbers, just the name of the prisoner and the number of the modulo they are in.

While searching for my friend in Madrid, I came across this web page "Butlleti Oficial." This list contained his name, but I don't know what the page is about. This is the form of the page, maybe someone could tell me what it means.This is an example of what it looks like:

Butlleti Oficial de la Provincia de Barcelona

COGNOMS/NOM NIF ACTE NUMERO REBUT
Simo*Mas*A 46111020E Provisio EI200461315076985
de constrenyiment

It would be apprecitated if someone could tell me the meaning of this.

Well, isn't that Catalan. If you are looking for a friend in Madrid that's probably not his right info. I think the Butlleti Oficial is like the official newspaper where legal notices, regulatios, etc., get published. As far as I know it is not a white-pages type of thing.

cognoms=last names
nom=first name
NIF=ID number
constrenyiment=restriction

It could have something to do with a debt.
