Leticia is the wife of the Felipe, the Principe de Asturias, right?

Aaaah.. THAT Leticia. I'm going to edit your subject line to make that clearer.

Her name is Doña Leticia Ortiz Rocasolano, Princesa de Asturias - apparently THE FIRST Princess of Asturias who was actually FROM Asturias.

(She's the one on the left wink )

Last I saw (on TV 2 weeks ago), she and the rest of the royal family were all together at the royal palace on the island of Mallorca. I imagine she's still there taking it easy before starting another year of Royal work. smile

UPDATE!: According to HOLA.com (see article HERE ), Princess Liticia Ortiz, her husband the prince, and the Royal Parents wink held a dinner tonight (or maybe last night) at the Palace in Mallorca. Here's an excerpt in Spanish:

Quote:
29 AGOSTO 2006
So this last, bold print part simply says there were "away from the media" the last 2 weeks but it doesn't say where they were.

At the end of the aforementioned article it also states:
Quote:
... They're spending the next week on the same Island of Mallorca.

Saludos, MadridMan

So that will make it like a 1-month vacation, right? Now, that is a great life!

But you don't have to be "Royal" to take a 1-month vacation (or more) every year. Nearly everyone I know here in Spain, both young and old, takes one month of vacation every summer.

I'd imagine the Royals take much more vacation than 'normal' people. too.

The minimum holiday period by law in Spain for a worker who has worked the full last year is 30 days.

The Royals are, practically, in a permanent holiday. But I wouldn't swap lives, anyway.
