So does anyone in Spain work in August? I ask because its been almost 5 months and we still do not have our visa.My husband went up to SF to the consulate a week or 2 ago to see if anything had changed ( they are too busy for calls or email,so its the only way and there were very long lines already at 8am when they open at 9am).She said there were very few people working in July or August,so ofcourse that makes us nervous as to how our visas will get processed.


We all have to fly all the way back if they are not done before we leave ( and yet we could also not apply for them any earlier as parts of it had time sensitive data).So thats one thing that is worrying me now,but I keep hoping for good news any day.When we turned them in she said to check back at the beginning of July,but now we are coming to the end and still no word.

Will it be hopeless if we do not hear by the end of July?

We leave in 41 days on the second of Sept ,so i would feel more secure with my visa in hand if you know what I mean.
