A correction:

All the festivities surrounding gay pride will begin on June 27th and will culminate on Saturday July 2nd with the annual parade. This is the information that I got from the FOLLOWING ARTICLE.

Though I've never been to a gay pride festival I hear they're fun. I should ask my wife and mother-in-law. They were in a gay pride parade once here in Los Angeles! Actually, they were driving to a theatre to see the musical Chicago when my mother-in-law made a wrong turn on the traffic detour and drove into the line of parade! Unable to drive out of the parade route, they decided to have some fun and started waving to the crowds!

I have to say that the parade in Madrid blows the ones i've seen down here in So.CAl. away!!!

Well, it's not TOTALLY gay! I mean, if I was in Madrid this Saturday I'd be on the march too and I'M not TOTALLY gay! In fact, I'm not much gay at all. hehehe... Just ask my ladyfriend. :p

The starting point for the march/parade has changed a little. People will gather before 6pm on the Paseo del Prado, with the front of the parade in Cibeles. Then it's up Cale Alcala to the Puerta de Alcala, up Calle serrano and into Plaza Colon. Hope to see lots there!
