Im looking for experiences with any 4 or 5 star hotels in Madrid. I will be staying with my girlfriend at least 1 night. Any recommendations? There seem to be many to choose from, but my budget would be no more than 200 euros. Thanks!

I recommend the Hotel Emperador on the Gran Via.
A nice 4 star in an excellent location with large rooms and impressive lobby. The Santo Domingo Metro stop is just outside the front door. Easy walk to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor etc.

The price will be les than 200 Euros.

Although I have never stayed there, the Hotel Villa Real has a very good reputation. I believe it is a 5 star. It is near the Prado, Starbuck's, Thyssen-Bornemisza, and Palace Hotel.

Hi there! There's the Intur Palacio San Martin which has been reviewed on this site. Just search for Palacio San Martin, and you'll find a few comments. There are lots more luxury hotels in Madrid. Cheers!!
