Vaya, does it snow! Spain is the second most mountainous country in Western Europe after Switzerland. Snow skiing and boarding are popular sports in Spain especially in the Pyrenees mountains in the north and the Sierra Nevada in the south but also in other regions as well.

Where are you going exactly in Spain? This would narrow down the weather patterns to inform you about. Obviously Galicia will have much different weather than Murcia, etc.

Well basically Madrid. I mean, I was wondering if it's anything like Nevada or California. I don't especially like hot weather and the sun. Does Spain have 4 seasons? Forgive me if I sound stupid. :p

Wow, Spain has a great average.

I don't know how those averages work. In July and August, it can reach 100 F on a daily several days out of the month.

well those averages are reliable for most months.

BUT...also some years can have bitter winter temperatures for a week or so, day after day.

otherwise the average temperatures on that site are quite accurate.
