The famous Galician photographer, Manuel Ferrol died today, in Spain, he was 79!
Ferrol is best known for his photographs of the Spanish immigration to the Americas during the 1950's . In 1957, the young Galician photographer, accepted the work of documenting the leave-taking of the immigrants leaving for America from Coruña. His work was commissioned by the Comisión Católica da Emigración/ Catholic commission of Immigration.
