I'm just glad no progressive nation in the world has decided to put pictures of farm animals on their currency, and called the coinage by those names.
Can you imagine where the equivalent of one penny was a chicken, one dollar was a goat, and a hundred dollars was a cow?
"How much will it cost for an airline ticket to Gobsnobber?"
"That will be two cows, thirty four goats, and ninety-nine chickens sir. The tax on that will run seven eggs, and a pound of butter. Let's see, that comes to.......... Will you be paying by cash or from your Visa barnyard account?"
Now wouldn't that be fun?
