I'm taking my dad and brother to Madrid during the first week of March. What should I expect weatherwise?

I just checked at usatoday.com and the Average High/Low temperatures in March are 60/38. The Record High/Low temperatures are 79/23.

Just came back from a week in Madrid and the weather was unfortunately not that great, worse than normally at this time (windy and rainy, temperatures occasionally below 40). However, returning to Boston where it is supposed to snow without interruption for the next days and strong winds are expected, I appreciate even bad Madrid weather!

This winter has been the rainiest in the last 50 years and it still goes on raining...
